How to fix Invalid sequence kicks on DonutSMP
Getting kicked from DonutSMP with Invalid sequence? It means the server saw your client do something out of order, like moving or clicking in a way a normal player could not. AFK bots hit it all the time. Console Client is built to avoid it, so your account stays online.
What Invalid sequence means
DonutSMP checks every move, hit and menu click your client sends. When something arrives out of order, it first pulls you back to your last good spot. If it keeps happening, it kicks you with Invalid sequence.
Why AFK bots get kicked for Invalid sequence
- Knockback: the bot moves itself after a hit on top of the server moving it, and ends up somewhere the server did not put it.
- Clicking too fast: sell menu clicks sent faster than a real player could make them.
- Jumping at the wrong time: an anti AFK jump while a sell menu is open.
- A missing signal: newer Minecraft clients send a small signal every tick, and DonutSMP kicks clients that never send it within about 20 seconds.
How to fix it
Run your account on Console Client
Add it on the dashboard with
donutsmp.netas the server.Leave DonutSMP Logic on
It is on by default under Settings → Behavior. It handles knockback, menu clicks and movement the way DonutSMP expects, and only runs on donutsmp.net.
Wait a few minutes after a kick
DonutSMP remembers recent violations for a few minutes, even after you reconnect, so rejoining right away can get you kicked faster.
Invalid sequence FAQ
Is the Invalid sequence kick a ban?
No, it is a kick. You can join again, but several kicks close together make the next one come sooner.
Does Auto Sell cause Invalid sequence kicks?
Not on Console Client. Each sell menu click waits for DonutSMP to catch up, and Anti AFK holds off while an account stands still selling.
Does DonutSMP Logic change anything on other servers?
No. It only runs while an account is connected to donutsmp.net.
